Who we are

Welcome on my Resin Family Blog!
I'm a girl? A lady? A woman? I guess a combination of all that. My home is in Germany, in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, to be exact. Wanna see a pic of me? Forget it!
This blog is about my Ball Jointed Dolls (BJDs). They are made of resin, a material that feels very smooth and soft.
So, who is part of my Resin Family?
First is Toivo.

He is a Dream of Doll in the size Dream of Baby, i.e. 28 cm. The sculpt is Libra. I always liked the name Toivo. It is finnish for "hope".
Toivo is a sweet guy, introvert, even a bit shy sometimes, nice, a loving brother.

The second is Inkeri.

She is a LittleFee by Fairyland. Her size is 25 cm and her sculpt is named Ante, which is a classic.
Inkeri is a tomboy, far more lively than Toivo. She loves climbing, running, everything that is action. On the other hand she is a loving doll mom and very fond of her brother.

The third is Sirpa.

She is also a LittleFee by Fairyland. Her sculpt is named Bisou. She sticks together with Inkeri, always looking for mischief. Dinosaurs are her favorites, and she loves reading.

And then there is Aava.

She is a PukiFee by fairyland, much smaller than the others, only 15.5 cm. As you can see, she is a sea fairy. Her eyes and wig change from time to time, as the sea is neither always the same. She loves dancing and all kind of fishes and other sea creatures. She is living on her own, in her own little world.

With the bigger dolls lives Sottje/Sootie (was he is called depends on the used language).

He is a PukiPuki by, you guessed it, Fairyland. His heigh is about 11 cm, so he is the smallest of the gang. He is a chimney ghost, having been a little chimney sweeper in life. He has become Toivo's best friend, but is very shy when it comes to people he doesn't know. Especially grown-ups. He prefers children by all means. His home is the fireplace, next to Toivo's chair.

The newest addition are season sprites. They all are Pukipuki
Leentje is my spring sprite. She is a sweet, good-natured creature.

The sculpt is Ante and I adore her.

Greetje Summer Sprite isn't home yet.

Beekje is the autumn sprite. She is a bit of an introvert, likes to make things cuddly and comfortable.

The sculpt is Niko. Isn't she sweet?

Tetje is the winter sprite. She can be calm, but loves merrymaking as well. And she is always at hand when someone needs help.

The sculpt is Madeleine. I still have to make acquaintance with her.
