Soon it's World Doll Day

I just stumbled over this day for the first time ever. But it's a great idea. You want to find out mote? Sure! We all here are getting excited. What will we do on this day? Will there be a party? Will we all go out and spend some day in the garden (when the weather is fine)? Will we meet other dolls? So many ideas!

Beekje's arrival - box opening. Or at least sort of.

Beekje, the Autumn sprite, arrived today. We picked her box up at our local customs office and went on to Ikea. After a breakfast and a coffee I was ready. Leentje was eager to meet her sister again.

But Beekje was sleeping. Of course she was, it's spring, not autumn!

Leentje tried to wake her up.

Even when Beekje managed to sit up, she fell asleep again immediatly.

Leentje loudly called her name.

Leentje was a bit sad, because Beekje didn't wake up.

Even putting her wig and one of the dresses on couldn't wake her up. She just cuddled to her sister's side and snored quietly on.

It might take a while until Beekje is ready to wake up and see her new home.
